The cottage was perfect for our family get-a-way. While it wasn’t the cleanest place we have stayed, overall it was ok. Something to note is its proximity to a local bar with loud, live music. If we were not staying while the bar was closed we would have considered leaving.

The cabin was filthy, top to bottom the cabin is in desperate need for a deep clean. Light bulbs were missing causing poor lighting for cooking and a light bulb fell out and smashed while we were there. Trash was still there from previous renters. There’s a horrible septic smell outside. There’s water leaking from upstairs into the downstairs bathroom from the ceiling. The bathtub was so slippery two of our children slipped and fell and then my mother slipped and fell out of the shower and almost had to go to the hospital because of her injuries. The AC vibrates the house so badly my mom had to separate dishes in the cabinet downstairs because they were rattling at night. I could barely sleep in the king bed because the AC vibrates so much it makes your voice shake when laying in bed it gave me the worst headache at night. The “guest contact” didn’t answer his phone during the shower emergency, his voicemail box is full and his email address is not found. I had to call Evolve so they could try to contact a property manager. Any decent person should not stay there unless you don’t mind roughing it. Not worth the price.

Unfortunately we had some negative experiences at our stay. The cabin was filthy. It desperately needs a deep clean. There was a septic stench outside as well as trash still there from the previous renters. The pool was not ready to swim in, a big disappointment as we were looking for a place with a pool. There was missing light bulbs making for poor lighting if you needed to cook there. A lightbulb fell out over the kitchen island and shattered. The AC shook the cabin so bad my mother had to separate the dishes in the cabinet because they were rattling. The AC made it hard to sleep upstairs because it shakes the bed causing your head to feel rattled and your voice vibrates when you are lying there. The tub was so slippery two of our children slipped and fell and my mother slipped and fell out of the bathtub causing her injuries that almost sent her to the hospital. The guest contact didn’t answer his phone and his voicemail box was full and his email address was not valid so we had to call EVOLVE To track down the property manager. The location was ideal but I would never go back and I would not recommend staying there unless you are ok with roughing it. I don’t believe it’s worth the price. The nicest thing in the cabin is the dishwasher as it looks new.
Staying at the Taylor House in Laconia goes down as one of the nicest family vacations we’ve had. The Taylor House was cozy, accommodating, and conveniently located to fun activities, and great restaurants, and pretty scenic beaches making for a great vacation. Thank you.

We booked this cabin for a long weekend because we were going to see a show at Bank of New Hampshire Pavillion. There were 6 adults and plenty of room for us. The campground is a little run down, but looks like they may be taking steps to improve this in the future. The listing described a pool and hot tub, this was not the case. The pool area was overgrown with vegetation and the water that was in the pool was green. The maintenance man did say that it was going to open the following week, but looking at it that didn’t seem possible to us. Overall if you aren’t looking for anything fancy this place will fit the bill. We enjoyed the area.
