This house is almost perfect place to stay and enjoy the lake. A few maintenance items needed attention but over all a comfortable place to spend a week with family enjoying the lake and surrounding area.

The house is beautiful. Views are amazing! The issue is getting in touch with the guest contact was very difficult. I began reaching out trying to get information about how I would receive the check in instructions (from evolve instructions it stated to reach out to get access) I just needed a simple answer like we will email instructions 48 hours before check in. I could not get a timely response. I finally got the instructions after a few emails and that was fine then we started packing. Upon arrival, the hot tub was bubbling brown foam and had not been cleaned. The house had been cleaned but there were cobwebs in the kitchen on the deco, spiders webs and dead bugs in the bathroom under the vanity. The house had not been freshened up after the last cleaning and was probably closed up for a few weeks. Large black ants were everywhere including crawling on you while sitting on the couch. The air return vent was covered in dust and the vent underneath black looking. This house just needs a little more attention than it was receiving. The hot tub was cleaned the next day, after draining and cleaning it was another day before we could use it. The owners made it right by refunding the cleaning fee but the time spent trying to contact the local guest contact and the numerous calls/emails with Evolve were time consuming and frustrating. I had to continue sending pictures and explaining the issue. We made the best of it but I have never had issues like this with other rental platforms.

- We understand how important communication is to our guests before and during their stay. We sincerely apologize if there was any delay in our response to your initial first reach-out. We provide guests with check-in information typically 48 hours before check-in by email.
- While the house had been cleaned prior to your arrival, we apologize for any oversights with the hot tub and cleanliness of the home. We have addressed these issues with our cleaning team to prevent them from happening again. The hot tub was cleaned and made usable as quickly as possible, but we understand that the delay was inconvenient.
- The large black ants were an unexpected issue, and we are taking additional steps to ensure the property is thoroughly inspected and treated for pests.
We're glad we could make it right by refunding the cleaning fee, but we apologize for the time and frustration you spent trying to resolve these issues. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will strive to provide a better experience for future guests.
