• Perfect beach getaway

  For the last few years my wife and I, our three daughters, and their families have gotten together somewhere in the country for a family vacation. It has proven to be an excellent week of fun and making family memories. This year we went to Oak Island, NC and everyone voted this experience as the best one to date. The Evolve house is fantastic and fit our family needs like a glove. It is completely outfitted for everything you need in the house and for the beach that any family could want. It is class all the way! There are two decks with comfortable seating where the family can enjoy sitting and relishing in the peace and quiet of the waves washing against the shore. The beds are very comfortable as well with plenty of bathrooms and showers for the group! The living-kitchen-dining area has plenty of seating for a large family to gather together playing games, watching tv or doing a jigsaw puzzle on the kitchen table. As someone with artificial knees, I found the elevator to be a godsend in reaching the 3 different levels without climbing the stairs. They have provided water toys in the form of two kayaks, boogie boards, and games to play on the sand. The beach is just a few yards over a dune with fluffy sand and only a few steps into the waves. It was windy every day which made us battle with the shibumi, but it provided great shade from the sun. All the kids, young and old, loved wading out through the waves, enjoying the crashing of the surf. The water was warmer than we expected and it was hard to keep the young ones from wanting to get in the water every minute of the day. Sunrise greets you every morning from the left side of the deck and cool evenings are a delight as you sit out on the deck enjoying a drink as the sun sets on your right. We also enjoyed the farmer’s market across the street on Monday, the closeness of Publix and Walmart for those runs to resupply. The small kids enjoyed the playground and splash pad across the street. There was something for everyone except Grandpa who wanted to play golf but they aerate the greens at all the golf courses the week we were there so he was denied a round or two at the beautiful courses. Our guest host, Bryan, was attentive to our needs and did whatever he could to insure we had an enjoyable week. We drove over 10 hours to enjoy the beach at Oak Island. Yes, this is a first class facility, and you pay for the privilege, but our family feels it was worth every penny. Don’t miss the opportunity!

  We had a fabulous stay! The house was incredibly clean! It was decorated beautifully. The kitchen was stocked with everything you may need. We had a 10-month-old baby, and there were toys, high chairs, pack-n-plays, and everything you need for the baby on site. We hope to stay again in the future! Great place to stay and we highly recommend it.

  this stay was absolutely perfect everything was top tier the kitchen was stocked the beds where like heaven i would give this place a 20 ,, Brian the host was great very responsive and patient ,, i loved everything about this place

  Our stay at Oak Island was perfect! The house was amazing, clean, new, and very nicely decorated. The views were awesome, and it was great being so close to the water. Communication with the host was very prompt and professional. We would definitely consider staying at this house again!!
