  • Beautiful view!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was amazing! It was in a great setting and felt very private. We would definitely book this house again.

  • Great House - Rough Terrain to Get There

We enjoyed our stay in this house, however had we known what the road was to get to it on, we would've booked another location. A very narrow road, although noted it was 2-lane. If you meet someone on it, a game of chicken ensues and someone has to back down. Not enjoyable. There were many bugs and spiders in the house and the back decks had a great view with many seats, but needed cleaned a lot more than they were. Yes, it's outside in the woods and there would be leaves and dust, but this was too much that hadn't been paid attention to.

    Manager's Response:

Carla, thanks for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at this house, but apologize you experienced some issues during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
"Thanks for staying with us in Hayesville, Carla.
-We are sorry you found the road access difficult. The final half
mile approaching the house would actually be considered a single-lane road. There are however ample turnouts to accommodate opposing vehicles. If viewed as a two-lane road I could see where a meet & pass could be a challenge.
-The house had been unavailable for several months as we had work done on the driveway and parking area. We apologize if that project left more residue than anticipated. After your stay, we visited the property and hand-cleaned the decks. We have also commissioned the entire house exterior and decks to be pressure washed in mid-July.
-In nearly 3 years of owning the home, we've never had an issue with bugs and spiders in the home so this is new feedback. We'll take a look at the home but our cleaners do a great job in addressing any potential problems in the interior.
We appreciate your feedback and we're happy to report the guests following your stay had nothing but great experiences."

  • Perfect Family Holiday Stay

Beautiful, spacious home with fantastic views. Best of both worlds - a quiet, family retreat with plenty to do just 20 minutes away.

The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Simple check-out process. Would definitely book again!

  • Weekend with Family

This is a beautiful home nestled in the mountains. We enjoyed our time together in this spacious house with awesome views out the back door. We enjoyed roasting hotdogs and marshmallows over the fire pit in the evening., carving pumpkins from a local farm market and hiking in the mountains.
