We had the best time during our stay on Spoon Lake! The house was extremely cozy and had everything you could think of needing while staying there. The property mangers/owners were very responsive, friendly and full of local information and tips on the area. The welcome gift was the icing on the cake. We loved our time there and look forward to going back ASAP!

  • Log cabin paradise on Spoon Lake

Our family spent a week at Jackie & Gib's cabin. It was just beautiful. The upstairs sleeping loft was perfect for my 3 kids, the cabin was clean, cozy, and the deck was great for enjoying the lake view and reading a book. Gib even gave my kids a ride in his 1928 Ford Model A! Spoon Lake is definitely swimming-friendly (and warm!) but water edge is definitely on the murky side. GNP is a short drive away...we left the cabin at 5:15 in the morning and easily made it past the park gate by 6:00 since we couldn't get a permit to drive the Going To The Sun Road. Overall a wonderful week.

  • Log cabin paradise on Spoon Lake

Our family of 6 had a spectacular week at this cabin on Spoon Lake. We've always wanted to stay in a log cabin and this exceeded our expectations! The decor of the cabin was very authentic with many stylish antiques. The kitchen was well stocked, clean, and tidy. Directly off the kitchen there was a large dining table with a beautiful view of the lake that was perfect for family meals. We also enjoyed the foosball table, penny slot machine, and board games. The cabin was located directly on the lake, with its own dock that provided easy access for canoeing and fishing. Our boys (age 8 and 11) easily caught fish from the dock. The owners provided a canoe and we also rented an inflatable kayak and SUP from SkyEco Rentals. The cabin's back deck provided ample space to relax and view the lake and surrounding forest. There was a retractable awning that provided shade or smartly retracted for viewing the abundant stars at night. The cabin felt very private and there was little to no surrounding noise. The location was excellent. We made several day trips into Glacier National Park; the West Glacier entrance was only a 15 minute drive from the cabin. We also drove 30 minutes to Whitefish Mountain for downhill mountain biking, ziplining, and the aerial adventure park. The owners were very welcoming and available if any questions arose. The cabin even had laminated park maps and GNP hiking books. As mentioned in other reviews, there was very limited Wifi and cell phone service, however we were happy to disconnect from electronics. We will be very happy to return to this hidden gem on Spoon Lake!
