• Lake getaway

  We booked the house to have a short getaway with the grandkids before the school year began. The house and property are very nice and just as described in the listing. The dock / lake access was very good and we spent time there fishing and rented a houseboat one day. Perhaps the only thing we had even a slight issue with was it seemed like the HVAC didn't maintain even temperatures in all of the rooms - it got cooler in some rooms while the master bedroom was kinda warm. Also, the floor of the shower in the master bath was "soft" (it flexed when standing in the shower). Overall, though, we had a very good time and recommend booking this house.

• Overall nice place

  The 4th bedroom is in the basement and you have to go outside to access it which is not very convenient. There are 89 stairs from the main house to the dock so it you are older or have knee problems beware. The camera system is a little unsettling have stayed in dozens of VRBO’s and never had a camera system like this recording you everywhere outside. There were more areas locked off than other VRBO’s I have stayed in. With all that said it was very close to 2 different boat ramps and marinas and gas stations you can get to from the water including boat gas. Deep water dock and easy access to the dock for your boat. The house was clean and it is pet friendly and generally fenced but your pets can get out if they are not off leash trained. We had a great time and got a leg workout at the same time. Close to Kroger, Walmart and restaurants. All of the bedrooms have full baths which is great for a summer stay as there will be lots of showers

• Great location

  The house was very clean, it is pet friendly but the yard is not fully fenced so only let your pets out if they are off leash trained (mine is not amd did escape). Property is very convenient to boat launches and on the water gas. There are 3 marinas very close and gas stations you can access from the water. The 4th bedroom advertised is not accessible from inside the house, you have to go outside and down the stairs to the basement room. All the rooms have their own full baths which is super nice. The dock is not covered but it is large and over deep water. Overall we had a great trip and got a serious leg work out on the 89 stairs down to the lake.

  This was such a nice home in a convenient location to boat ramp, grocery stores, etc. The lake is awesome and huge! We fished, swam, went boating, grilled on the large deck, relaxed, and indulged in many adult beverages! I would definitely recommend this property!
