5/5 The house was clean & convenient. The basic necessities were all in the home (trash bags, laundry soap, etc). Perfect home for short stays with kids.

Very dissatisfied
2/5 Pool was green upon arrival. Missed 2 days of pool time due to this. Outside Garbage can had not been emptied in at least a week. Maggots all over outside of can. Horrible smell and we had NO where to leave OUR Garbage. Very poor management of property. Would NOT recommend staying here.

Donna, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We promptly informed you the pool company was out that morning and had to do a hefty chemical treatment as well as flush the filter three times. We expressed the chemical treatment will make the water cloudy as does flushing the filter, but by the next day, you should notice a significant difference. Additionally, we stated the pool guy would return the following day (Tues) to do another treatment, so we were actively taking care of the situation. On Tuesday, the pool guy did have to shock the pool, which unfortunately meant no swimming for that day, but on Wednesday it was good as new! We'd like to clarify the pool was unavailable for one day during your stay after the shock treatment
-As for the trash can, the property was cleaned prior to your arrival and unfortunately, our last guests did not bring any of their trash out. Trash pick-up is early Monday morning, so by the time the crew arrived, the trash service was completed. Therefore, they had to leave all the trash in the can. Once informed of your concerns, we stated we would personally come and bring the trash to the curb. We also expressed you could leave any trash that wouldn't fit in the bin in a bag next to the bin
-It is very unfortunate that these out-of-the-ordinary events occurred over your visit, and we hope you understand we tried to remedy any of the issues as promptly as possible

5/5 Our family found this listing and it was everything we wanted to enjoy a family vacation. We had 5 adults and 2 teens. There was plenty of space for everyone. My 17 year old teens slept on the couch. I brought a queen air mattress so they had that in front of the L shaped couch to make a bigger sleeping area. I originally thought it was a pull out couch but didn’t seem to be one. The couch in the spare room does make into a bed though. The pool area was a great extra living space. The kitchen was great and had everything you need to make meals. More kitchen towels would be nice to have for the future but had the basics. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and a few rolls of toilet paper. The beds were comfy. The bathrobes in the spare closet were a nice added touch. The bonus room uses a window unit for a/c the laundry room also has one so I’d you open the laundry door to the bonus room that helps to keep the area cooler. We had a couple times of heavy downpours and the gutters need to be cleaned out because a lot of rain was pouring onto the front porch and the covered area of the back pool area. This home is in a nice quiet neighborhood not far from everything you need. Less than 10 mins from weekie watchee and about 15 mins to pine island beach to watch beautiful sunsets. We had an amazing time!

Loved the house perf cr for our family!
5/5 Very clean home. Beds were very comfortable. Super accommodating for anything you will need during your stay. Pool was nice and the outside area was great for relaxing. Very quiet neighborhood in a great location. Would definitely stay here again!
