  We recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at a rental vacation house that did not meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness and comfort. From the moment we stepped foot inside, it became clear that this accommodation was far from suitable for a relaxing getaway.

  Firstly, the cleanliness of the rental house left much to be desired. It was apparent that proper cleaning had not been carried out prior to our arrival, as there were visible signs of dirt, sand and grime throughout the entire property. The refrigerator was dirty, there was sand in all couches and the bathrooms were in desperate need of a thorough professional scrubbing. The overall lack of hygiene resulted in an unpleasant and uncomfortable environment.

  To make matters worse, the presence of huge wood roaches was both distressing and unacceptable. These unsightly pests were seen scurrying across the floors and walls, turning what should have been a peaceful retreat into a nightmare for anyone with even a slight aversion to insects like my toddlers. The Roaches presence was not only unhygienic but also indicative of a lack of proper maintenance and regular pest control.

  The shortcomings extended to the air conditioning unit and cheap furniture as well. Despite the scorching heat outside, the AC unit was unable to maintain a cool and comfortable temperature inside the house. This left us feeling hot and uncomfortable throughout our stay. There was also a cheap table with chairs in one of rooms that was so flimsy that when my husband was sitting on one of the chairs it actually broke and he fell!

  In summary, my experience at this rental vacation house was nothing short of disappointing. The lack of cleanliness, the presence of wood roaches, the electrical problems, and the ineffective AC system altogether created an unsatisfactory and uncomfortable stay. I would strongly advise the owners to hire a professional cleaning company, have maintenance completed on AC unit, replace cheap furniture and to double check that house is suitable standards before renting out property.

  - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed your stay didn't meet your expectations and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
  - We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest stay. When you reached out to make us aware of your concerns, we promptly responded and offered to send the cleaning team back to the home to address your concerns. Unfortunately, our calls went unanswered when we attempted to call you to advise you when the cleaning team would arrive, so they were unable to enter the home to address your concerns.
  - We have further looked into your concerns and although no bugs could be found, we called our pest control service that routinely inspects and treats the home and have since had an additional treatment completed as a precautionary measure.
  - We were unaware of any issues with the AC during your stay and wish you had brought this to our attention. We have made the decision to replace the AC as soon as possible.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  The house was ok we had to leave the house before lunch time every day because it was so hot the air was on but stayed 80 inside until the sun went down. We seen a few cockroaches in the kitchen and 1 of the bedrooms but other than that it was ok the was very clean the pool was nice

  We are glad you chose our home and we are sorry your stay was not what you expected. We have just had the A/C serviced and there should be no issues. We have picture window and if front curtain are not closed the sun just beats in. As the home is located in the south, palmetto bugs can be prevalent in the area due to rain and occasionally enter if doors are left open. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues.

  The house was amazingly pretty and clean nice house the pool was wonderful and the outside was clean and nice and the landscaping was beautiful. The only issue that we had with the whole house it had a bedroom with a half bath the commode was not bolted to the floor it was loose, and if you use the wash machine, you could not flush the commode at all but if you didn’t use the washer, you could flush it but that was the only issue that I had with the house and it really needs to be repaired properly

• Great pool!

  The kids loved the pool! It was exactly as advertised.

  We had a little hiccup with the half bath's toilet but other than that it was a great weekend. The house was clean and smelled great upon arrival. It was close to everything we needed.

  Great response time when we had questions about the internet as well.

  We would definitely rent again.

• Awesome and relaxing

  The place was nice. Outside with the pool made it ever so pleasant coming back from the beach. And the beach was only 15 min away which was great. The house was comfortable and had enough space for all of us. I would easily stay here again.
