Peaceful cabin
5/5 The cabin was very cozy and beautiful. It has great views from the balcony where we watched a few rain storms roll over the mountains. Close to Fairplay but far enough away to be "in nature". There was a lovely pond right down the road in front of the house that was easily in walking distance. My husband enjoyed fly fishing on it. This home is in a gated community but not what you typically would think of. You don't even realize there are neighbors. House had everything thing we needed. Pots and pans included. Beds were comfy and cozy, and we enjoyed waking up to a view of the mountains. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely Valley Location
5/5 We enjoyed our stay at the Bear Paw Lodge. We saw a wild bull moose walk by on the second night, and antelope on the drive to the entrance of Warm Springs neighborhood where the cabin is located on our final day. The WiFi in the cabin had some issues, but thanks to some collaboration between me, the property manager, and the owner, I was able to correct. The house is well-stocked with necessities, and Fairplay is only a five-minute drive away. About the only downside to the experience was the mosquitoes—they were so thick that it was difficult to enjoy the porch of the house. Beyond that, it was a fine debut to our Colorado VRBO career. Thank you for your hospitality!
