We had a lovely time at Aspen Leaf. The house was big enough for all 5 of us to enjoy privacy and togetherness whenever we wanted. The first floor was a home in itself! We were warm and comfy with the two fireplaces on the chilly nights. It was a wonderful home away from home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We loved the house. Others have complained about the road, but in the summer it's really not bad, plus there are multiple routes where you can avoid the more rocky road.
11,000 feet is pretty high and took a couple of days for us flat-landers to acclimate. It's a beautiful area and the house was very clean, and had a great layout.
Internet didn't work at all while we were there, but we had decent cell phone signals so didn't really matter.

My family and I came up for the week of the 4th of July. This was “home base” for us and it worked perfectly. Far enough away from everyone and everything. But close enough when we had plans- the closest town is about 20 minutes away, but most of that is driving out of the subdivision.
We didn’t see any bears but we did see a moose while venturing into town for the fireworks! That was a neat experience for our kids.
The only complaint we have about the cabin is that there is no door on the master bathroom, so there is not really much privacy when getting up in the middle of the night.
We loved the big sectional in the living room and the gas fireplace downstairs! While I already miss the cabin, I don’t miss the roads leading to it. 😝

We enjoyed everything about our stay at this great rental. The house was extremely clean. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed. There was lots of space for everyone. There was even a great hike at the back of the neighborhood that we enjoyed. The only negative was the road coming in is pretty rough and rocky. Which is somewhat to be expected. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a mountain cabin.
