    Nice enough property, but the basement was unusable due to mice droppings on the top bunk of the beds in the basement and spiders on the couches down there also which posed a problem since 3 of our family members couldn't stay down there and we had to accommodate them elsewhere. All doors need maintenance - annoying squeaky hinges.

    Hello Whitney, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, the owner wanted to share the following: We take the cleanliness of our home seriously and we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience of mice droppings in the home. Mice are common in the area so we have ongoing pest control that closely monitors this situation. It seems they missed an appointment and our cleaners missed the mark on thoroughly cleaning the home. The mice issue has since been taken care of and we have spoken to our cleaners to ensure the home is in top shape for our guests. All doors inside the home were replaced in 2020 but we will have the hinges lubricated to remedy the squeakiness. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve our guests' stays!

    This house was an absolute gem to stay and relax in the pines. Normally would get as close to Woods Canyon Lake but were able to locate this place due to us procrastinating. Sincere gratitude from the Great Grandparents to enjoy some glamping.
