  What a joy to use this cabin in the woods for a few days. We enjoyed the closeness to our family we were there to see and the cleanliness of the cabin. The hospitality basket in the kitchen was wonderful, coffee, creamer, sugar and treats and since we were celebrating a birthday we didn't do any cooking so that was great. The only glitch was that both bedrooms was not made up, we only needed one so it wasn't a problem, and the garbage from the cleaners was not removed before we came. We just took care of it and after we got home I did let the host know about it and was immediately ask for my address so she could refund me the cleaning fees. I told her it was no big deal and that instead we would like her to use that to keep that hospitality basket full. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a quiet get away to enjoy the pines and outdoors.

  I was sure the posting mentioned a/c but there was no a/c. The house temperature ranged from 90 - 92 degrees even with fans. We even purchased another fan that didn't help. Rechecked the lisitng and a/c isn't mentioned. We couldn't last more than one night. We left the next morning. We had paid for 4 days. The heat was so bad we couldn't sleep and had a hard time breathing.Nice house with a lot of nice touches such as toiletries, teas, coffee, Bath and Body hand soap. It would have been a wonderful stay if it were not so hot in the house. We were very disappointed not to be able to complete our stay.

• Just a really nice getaway!

  My husband and I spent 2 weeks here to get out of the valley heat. It was totally worth it! The front porch alone was worth the trip—so peaceful among the pines and oaks. The cabin was spotless, comfortable for 2 and very close to everything. Thank you for sharing it with us!
