• Lux Rustic Setting in Torreon

  We had the great pleasure to stay in this rustic getaway with all of them luxuries of home and close to downtown Show Low. This home has all the amenities from comfortable beds, DirecTV, a pool table and high end appliances. Sitting on the deck in a wooded setting was a great relief from the intense heat in Phoenix. The owner was responsive to queries to make sure we had good info for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this expansive home for comfort, fun and location!

• AC Broke / Fridge did not work / nice house

  The house is very nice. It was unfortunate all these events happened over one weekend while we stayed there.

  Unfortunate I had to keep calling Evolve asking what do we do if there is no AC with my small kids.

  We arrived and the fridge was not cooling. Gave it overnight and alerted the owner and Evolve next morning. Did not hear back until the afternoon. Repair man came next day. AC then was not cooling. Repair man came next day to fix it. They did get resolved. The owner had a small fridge brought in to help with the outage.

  Positives:

  Huge butler walk in pantry, outside deck, and inside pool table.

  House set up was great for our family with a split floor-plan. Master on one end and the two extra bedrooms and bath on the other.

  Negatives:

  The loft area did not get airflow and we would not be able to sleep up there even if when the AC was working.

  Cameras pointed on the deck.

  No shoes inside, which was not posted in the listing. We honored the request, but it was inconvenient.

  AC and fridge issues / repair folks onsite during our stay.

  Evolve was not very proactive in the situation. I called multiple times asking what do we do in the middle of our stay if the AC is not fixed. They kept deferring to wait until we hear back on what the AC repairman could do. By the time we had answers it was 5:30pm. We realized for night two there would not be AC, Evolve said they cannot do same day check-ins at any of their properties.

  Manager's Response:

  Owner's response: "Christine, We are sorry that you had a couple of issues come up while you were in the home. We did our best to get you taken care of immediately and both of the issues were beyond our control.
  
  - We thank you for your patience and are happy that you thought the house was nice and were able to enjoy the butler pantry, outside deck, and inside pool table. We also think the setup is perfect for a family with the master on one end and the two extra bedrooms on the other side.
  - We have taken care of the refrigerator, the repairman came out and got it cooling efficiently on Monday. We have also decided to add a backup fridge that will be in the butler's pantry just in case.
  - The AC was completely frozen we think from a previous guest, but the HVAC tech was able to get it up and running the next day, we do apologize for the inconvenience.
  - We do have a very strong fan in the loft and most people are comfortable with that and the AC, we think it was just hot because the AC was not working, but all is well.
  
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

• Tranquility

  We absolutely loved our stay at this home. My husband loves log cabins, so I surprised him with this stay as a 20th wedding anniversary gift. We spent most of our time sitting on the patio and staring at the beautiful wooded surroundings. The inside is clean and spacious with a great kitchen and open concept. There is a grocery store only a couple of miles away, so we stocked up. The only thing we couldn't find in the home that I wish we would have had was a grill cleaner. It was pretty grimy. However, we were able to work around it, and enjoyed some great meals on the patio. There are also some good restaurants we found nearby that we would definitely visit again. We are hoping to make this an annual trip, a d would stay at this home again without hesitation.

• Decent home but had multiple issues

  Great spacious home. Huge pantry, nice sized fridge, great entertainment on the pool table. Master bed was so comfortable. Issues were as follows; upstairs is a large open room with an air mattress, air mattress was going flat on arrival and unfortunately would not stay full. Ended up having to purchase one for the remainder of our stay. Second issue was regulating the fridge temp. Some times of the day it would be cold and later on the day it was Luke warm which was concerning for food safety. Third issue was we bought steaks to grill only to realize that the grill was so nasty and not kept up with as a grill should, Forth issue which is more just an inconvenience that I was unaware of was only one tv in the entire home, so at times it was a bit of a fight. Lastly, renting a home with mouse traps is kind of a deterrence, especially when it’s a live trap in the master bedroom. Other than that it was a nice home.

  -We sincerely apologize for the issue you encountered with the air mattress. This is the first time a guest has provided this feedback and we have had no issues from past travelers. We would have been happy to bring you a new mattress as soon as this concern was raised, and we were happy to make the accommodation. You chose to purchase one on your own. Since your stay, we replaced the air mattress and believe we have solved the problem.
  -The refrigerator is well-regulated and guests can manually adjust the temperature as desired, but we will look into the issue, sorry for this inconvenience!
  -Thanks for bringing this to our attention and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of the grill. We appreciate the feedback. Also, we will collaborate with our cleaning team and take special attention to ensure this issue does not recur for future travelers.
  -The listing details, provided on all platforms and in the pre-stay email communications to each guest are clear and absent of any fine print. The listing is correctly advertised. We do list only one TV, but we're sorry if this caught you off guard.
  -Although we do treat the property for insects, we cannot eliminate them from indoor/ outdoor spaces as they are common due to the area. We are very sorry that your visit was negatively impacted by this unforeseen occurrence and we apologize for that. After you checked out, the property manager inspected the property, removed the traps, and hid them. We're sorry this impacted your stay.

• Perfect getaway Cabin

  Beautiful and private cabin in a great setting. Cabin was really clean and we really enjoyed the open family room with pool table.
