Had a wonderful stay. It was comfortable, very welcoming and a lovely place to enjoy the forest. Loved the decks. The weather was fine at first and with multiple windows and/or doors to open, we had a nice breeze. Towards the end of the stay, we needed air conditioning, which worked like a champ. One small negative was the inability to open the downstairs exterior door without opening the deadbolt from the inside. The main door had a electronic lock that allowed us to enter using a code. However, downstairs, closest to parking, could only be opened from the inside. It would be helpful, especially when loading/unloading, to have a similar electronic lock downstairs too. Be aware the kitchen is small and gets crowded quickly if more than 2 people are using it. We danced a well coordinated ballet of people in and out of the kitchen, but be aware it can get crowded real fast.
Also, downstairs is accessed via a very steep circular staircase. It can be scary for some. A couple guests were a bit heavy, so going up/down was somewhat difficult, they just took their time. A tip is to have upstairs what you need so you don't have to go up and down every time you want something. Like the small kitchen, it was doable, but you should be aware if you have seniors, children or guests who are slightly larger. Overall would give this property a 4.5 out of 5 and would definitely stay here again.

This rental was cute. The living/dining area is "in the trees", which I liked a lot. The deck was great for having al fresco dinners (grill included) and enjoying the lovely evenings. The upstairs bedroom was comfortable and shared the bath with the living area. The kitchen is small, but functional. There is no dishwasher, but there was never more than 4 of us at a time, so we could handle that. The second "bedroom" was the entire downstairs. Included in this area was a full bath and a laundry room, plus a separate exit. There are 2 sleeping beds, which consist of a queen wall bed and a queen mattress on a metal frame. Both of these beds were lower than a typical bed and were not as comfortable as the upstairs bedroom bed, but still acceptable. The "stairs" to the lower level were a spiral staircase, as shown in the photos of the home. This staircase is very narrow and steep and requires caution when using (this, too, is in the home's description). I am in my 70's as was my various guests that visited me. A couple of my guests were not able to navigate the staircase, so bedroom assignments had to be changed. The home is in a treed, hilly neighborhood with very narrow streets, which makes for the "tree house" feeling. Never really experienced any traffic flow issues, but I used Uber (less than $7 each way) to go into town in the evenings. It was worth it to be able to have drinks and not try to find parking. The concerts at the Courthouse are a lot of fun.
My review is meant to be informational and not a negative review. I enjoyed my stay overall and enjoyed Prescott...golfing, dining, shopping, concerts, wine tasting and staying at the house playing cards and games. Michelle quickly responded and took care of a few issues that came up. She was a kind and courteous Hostess.
What an amazing property. Loved the spiral staircase.. the different entrances really helped with friends staying with us. Would recommend.
