'The Purple House' Apt in Downtown Flagstaff!

  I recently spent 23 days at this lovely, historic home in Flagstaff, primarily to escape Nevada’s heat and to experience all this college town had to offer. The photos and reviews accurately portray the home. Each room is lovingly decorated, roomy, and very comfortable. The host provided everything I would need for 23 days, including a restock and refresh midway through my stay. The bathrooms and kitchen had everything I required from paper products, spices, linens, and soaps. Many such rentals provide the bare minimum so this was a pleasant and welcome surprise.The very best part of the home, however, was the front porch which overlooks lush gardens surrounded by a sweet, white picket fence. I spent many relaxing hours on this porch. The neighborhood features a church across the street, the library, and a park kitty corner from the house that hosts a street fair and food truck gathering every Sunday.The only problem I had pretty much throughput my stay was intermittent internet service. The host did everything possible to insure the problem was not with the house but with the town’s only internet provider. I just had to learn to be patient.For a memorable small town experience, I heartily recommend the Purple House.

• Great Location!

  The rental property was charming. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to relax and hang out. The property is within a few blocks of downtown Flagstaff. We enjoyed walking to many of the shops and restaurants. We would stay here again!

• convenient, cute house close to town

  Good experience staying in the house, it was very cute on the inside and easy to "live in".

  We used this house as a stop/return point for going up to Canyon X and some other sightseeing (the volcano, ruins...) so we really really need to come back sometime and stay and explore Flagstaff more, the house was in a great location for that-- rather busy but fun.
