  We had a great time at PAM’s mermaid house. Location was amazing for river access. We spent most of our time in the water . The patio area is amazing. Our family definitely enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to coming back ❤️

  We stayed at Pam's mermaid house this weekend and it was so much fun!! Pam was so sweet and showed us around upon our arrival and even let our daughter feed her bunny rabbits! You can't beat the location!! The outdoor space was wonderful and offered a ton of amenities! We made so many special memories with our 2 year old that we'll cherish forever!!! Our daughter thought the house was so magical with all the mermaid decor. The house fits the description listed perfectly! Highly recommend and looking forward to staying there again!

  LET ME BE VERY CLEAR THIS LISTING IS AS MISLEADING AS IT GETS! I do not know how this property got so many high reviews. I wish I would have looked further back in the review section because it is a far more accurate depiction of this property.

  Owner does not "live on site in a separate apartment" you are staying in her house and renting her 2 guest rooms. THERE IS NO KITCHEN. The "outdoor kitchen" is a microwave on the porch and the sink is a HOSE on the other side of the house. THERE IS NO PRIVACY. The owner has complete view of ALL via huge walls of glass windows and cameras EVERYWHERE.

  Cushions for outdoor furniture was moldy and old.

  Owner also disclosed there is a free range bunny lost somewhere in the house but "don't worry its pee pee pad trained" while she had her dog in our rooms. My husband and son are EXTREMELY allergic to animals- nowhere in the listing does it disclose you will be exposed to animals.

  Owner did not know the password or information to WIFI, there is no signal at the property.

  Owners laundry and personal mail was left out in the rented space.

  THIS WAS A HOT MESS AND NOWHERE NEAR WORTH $300/ night. Despite being on a beautiful part of the spring you need to keep in mind you will basically be CAMPING with oversight of the owner.

  We left IMMEDIATELY as my son broke out in hives from the animals. The management company EVOLVE is impossible to work with and will refuse to refund even though this listing is completely misleading and caused my child a medical emergency.

  I do not go around leaving negative reviews for the sake of it and try to give people the benefit of the doubt.

  THIS WAS A DISASTER.

• Such a fun place to stay

  Everything is exactly as pictured! Our kids thought it was the most magical place to stay. Having coffee in the morning while the manatees swam by was magical. Pam is a wonderful hostess.
