We were grateful to find the right SVR configuration for our five families; liked that the twin bunks are located with a queen bed.
The great room is big. We used the 12 person table as the coloring/sticker book play zone and for buffet style serving to the patio both evenings.
Three bedrooms open to the deck which spans the back, shades the patio, and over looks a golf green.
The kids loved the swings and game room; they played a lot of pool with grandpa.
Location is close to Palisades and the church.
Thanks for a well appointed kitchen, mirrors and waste receptacles in the bedrooms, hooks on bath doors, and plenty of hangers in closets; our experience is that these can be missing on other vacation rental properties.

We loved our stay here! The house was beautiful and spacious, and the game room was a hit! We also enjoyed the beautiful golf course views and the deer that would grace us with their presence each morning and evening. Highly recommend!

Since staying in Jackson is abt $1 mil for my family of 9, we looked outside JH & glad we chose this home. easy to find & access, loved the wooded landscaping & golf course view with the occasional golfer. The two fire pit tables sets were great. No one ever felt cramped. The king master (comfy mattress) with en suite is on the main floor; shower is huge. has a tv, a fold out twin chair bed & 2 luggage racks. The half bath is on the flip side of the master bedroom. Off the master is the living room with large tv and comfy sofas - lots of naps taken on the sofas. Next to the living room is the open concept kitchen/dining - long, big table and the kitchen is well stocked - i cooked 75% of our meals & never found myself wanting for basics like cooking spray, evoo, spices, cookware, a few condiments in the fridge, & a ton of dishware/utensils (cookie sheets are under the stove); should have brought an apron, ziplocks, and foil (which is typical for vacation rentals not to have).
upstairs has 4 roomy bedrooms with 2 detached full bathrooms to share between them. Each room had a luggage rack. Reviews on king & queen mattresses were good, twin mattresses were just ok. loved that there was a connected balcony overlooking the golf course between 3 of the rooms.
The basement was fun - very large tv, 4 comfy sofas, lots of board games/puzzles, & the game & pool table. two sets of washers and dryers in the laundry room down there - big plus for our group size. There’s no bathroom, but that’s no big deal imo. Really great space down there. Very well appointed with fun decor and easy instructions for everything.
The only two things I’d say to be aware of is that the walls are thin and the lighting is low in the living room.
The house is right between Afton and Alpine, which both have some good restaurant options. The store (Broulims, which has a good selection of GF items) and church is 10 minutes away. A restaurant called Graze is also 10 min away for a yummy breakfast or lunch.
My son in law fished closeby just about every morning. 40 minutes south is the periodic springs trail, which was lovely. 40 minutes north is Astoria hot springs, which is a must do. In afton there’s Shumway Farms with amazing ice cream cones, sourdough bread, raw milk, eggs, etc. and the freaking yogurt….we brought home 4 tubs of it. Yum.
Would definitely stay again! Thank you.
