• Update Pictures of Listing and Moldy Dryer Pillows

  Great location.

  The pictures of the listing did not look like the current state of the house, and it ended up being quite disappointing. Please have these updated. The lighting of the pictures on the listing makes this place look very nice and amazing, and it ended up being the opposite.

  If you plan to stay here in the summer, make sure you pay attention to the weather because this place does not have AC.

  The pillows in the dryer that we were told were feather pillows for one of the beds smelled like mold when we took them out. They smelled absolutely gross, I can't even describe it.

  We definitely interrupted the cleaning that was taking place. The description said to check in after 4, we arrived at 4:05, and the woman who was there was still working on getting everything in order. Maybe this time needs to change to a later check in time? The house was not very clean when we walked in.

  - The photos in the listing are accurate and they do depict what you will see when you get there. The natural light that flows through the windows and the views of nature are exactly what you will get here in our home. We are sorry that you felt this way.
  - As this is advertised we do not have AC, you knew this when you booked the place and you booked it with the hopes it would be cooler. We have no control over Mother Nature and everyone seems to have had an exceptionally warmer-than-normal summer this year. There is nothing we could have done about this if you wanted AC we're sure there were other options.
  - We have no idea what you are talking about regarding odors, the pillows were laundered and were fresh and clean.
  - Our cleaners take pride in their work and we have not had any issues with this, we're sorry if they were a few minutes late. This was just a one-time occurrence and we apologize for the inconvenience.
  - We are here for all our guests and pride ourselves on being available, had you tried to contact us we would have been more than happy to come over and see what could be done. You never contacted us to let us know you were unhappy.
  We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as this little gem. It is one of two houses on this section of the street and is very quiet.

  The kitchen is well equipped. A nice bonus is that it includes a washer and dryer. The queen size bed was too soft for my taste, but we would stay here again

• Great location, very fair price, clean and comfortable

  For a long weekend in the area, this was a great place for my wife and I, two of our adult sons and our dog. The house was clean and comfortable and just off a nice park trail for our pup.

  Kitchen supplies (spices and oils) were somewhat limited, so bring your own if you intend to cook. Pots and pans were adequate. Host supplied Keurig cup coffee.

• Decent if you only spend a little time there

  The good: The property parcel itself was great. Absolutely wonderful location near everything, and the wooded area behind the house was beautiful. Long driveway and ample parking, which meant we didn't feel cramped with our 2 SUVs.

  The bad: The house had some sealing issues around the main door by the laundry room. There is/was likely a bug issue, because the sugar and oil were both stored in the refrigerator. Heat was hard to control. We didn't feel comfortable with the swing, since it creaked any time I pulled on it. Low water pressure in the shower.

  For the price, it was a little bit expensive for what it was, but my family mostly went to Taylors Falls to be outside and not in the VRBO for long periods of time.

  - As for the swing, while it does have a squeak, it is designed to hold at least 300 lbs and is safe for use. We apologize if this caused any concern during your stay.
  - Additionally, we have made adjustments to the storage of condiments and will no longer keep them in the refrigerator to prevent any confusion.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

• Cute spot for leaf seekers

  Love how this home is nestled in the woods yet close to town for a walk to shops, trails, etc. Home could be cleaned better, specifically cobwebs and spiders along corners and especially upper rooms. We appreciated the fans & AC unit as our Fall weekend was a humid, hot one!
