Great place
5/5 The house is very nicely updated, great views, great indoor and outdoor spaces. Very clean and caretaker was super responsive. Channel is nice and has easy access by boat to surrounding lakes. Drive to downtown Manitowish is about 5 to 10 minutes.

Relaxing lake house
5/5 We enjoyed our stay! The house is gorgeous with a lot of windows. The dock is nice, and it’s easy to get the kayak and paddle board in and out. They are not supplied so bring your own water toys. We saw a lot of wildlife on our stay, which was super fun. There were plenty of towels, pots, pans, toiletries, etc. provided. The bathrooms with walk-in showers were great. It was a bit of a steep to walk down to the water, but definitely doable. Our family enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Great spot!
5/5 We loved this home- spacious and well equipped. Nicely decorated and clean. The location on the Manitowish chain of lakes was perfect! Calm waters, boats going slowly, frogs and ducks, too. Just to sit at the dock and watch the action was a pleasure! The house never got hot because it’s shaded by the tall trees.

One quirk otherwise it was very nice.
5/5 Ok, the quirk. Our fire alarm inexplicably went off at 3 am the first night. No fire. We turned it off, looked around and went back to sleep. We have made 8 annual trips up north staying in Door County, St Germain the past 3 years, the tip of MN, etc. The remodeled bathrooms and especially the showers are awesome. It's nice and quiet. The trip to town for anything is quick. No hassle check in w/o owners on your back. Beautiful TV for the kids. Comfortable beds, plenty of space and a nice kitchen. The first place ever which supplied basics like TP and towels! Once you air out the cabin the ceiling fans kept the place cool. Unless it's blazing hot no AC was no problem. The only wishes: The deck area doesn't really have a swimming area. If you have a boat you are on The Chain and this is a nonissue. 2nd the walk down to the pier is short, has stairs and a path but could prove to be steep for some folks. We would rent it again.
