Surprisingly beautiful setting & great layout
4/5 We had a group of 4 adults & 5 kids 11 & under. We found the layout perfect for a big group to split up or be all together as needed. We didn’t realize there were lake views on both sides of the property & you’re on a dead end road, so you really feel like you’re away from things.
We did wish the listing had been clearer about not providing any toiletries, coffee supplies, or other cooking basics that have typically been supplied when we book listings at this price point. There were also quite a few Asian lady beetles in and around the house, which overall didn’t cause problems for our group (occasionally landing on us or being smushed by accident), but for anyone who’s more sensitive to bugs, it could be good to check on. Neither of those things would make us hesitate to book this property again because of the location and layout of the place. The contact was responsive and very helpful, and now that we know about some of the supplies, we’d be more prepared.
