  Awsome property, great location, spacious for our party of 6. Which included set of active twins that turned two during our stay. Pool & jacuzzi was perfect, grill & flat top was a plus. Owner on property was never seen nor heard accept when we were confused about the trash and he happened to be leaving, he was kind and helpful. The grape vines and roses covering the out door patio was a really nice touch. My only suggestion is maybe a stack washer and dryer, and access to vacuum since there is carpet in the living room especially for longer staying guest. But still give this place a five. My grandson wants to stay here every summer. Thanks I also appreciate the quick responses from property management.

• Beware of owner staying on property even though it is not listed

  Let me just start by saying this property is very beautiful and down to earth comfortable my issue is we came into town for a funeral so with my husband's job he could not come right away so I came with our two kids first for 3 days without him. The night after we got there I called the owner for information on the propane because it was not there I had also noticed there was a vehicle on the side and a room that was locked under the house I asked him about it and he says that he stays under there and that it's listed in his description on vrbo. I actually got pretty upset because I am staying there by myself with two kids I went back to the description just to make sure I did not miss nothing and it is not listed that he stays there at this point we are completely freaked out. I did try to look up other hotels but in our price range we just couldn't find one so until my husband got there I slept downstairs on the couch with a knife not able to sleep too much. In the daytime we were gone most of the time but at night it was really creepy. When my husband got there he proceeded to knock on the door to try and talk to him we could see movement in there but nobody would ever answer the door so at this point we just left it alone did what we came to do and got out of there., like I said this property is very very beautiful but stuff like this should be listed that way the choices are I knew I was coming as a single parent and I would never would have chosen this place knowing I would be there by myself with my kids.

  Hi Tara, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We're glad to hear your appreciation of our home, thank you for your kind words. I wanted to take this opportunity and apologize if I made you feel uncomfortable in any way, that was never my intention, and wanted to clarify the following, I have two vehicles one of which I do not drive regularly, this is parked on the side driveway leaving the main driveway available for 4 vehicles. I occasionally may stay at the property on the lower floor, which has outside access that was recently installed. I will make sure the listing reflects that I may be present during a guest's stay. I always let the tenants know if I'm coming by to take the trash cans out, which are in the driveway, outside, and to the curb. I never enter the house during a guest's stay.
  I wish you had called me immediately when you said you knocked and saw movement but got no reply, I would have addressed your concerns promptly.
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
