    The property is great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. We had a great time!!

    The place is exactly as described. Large enough to accommodate the group of 10 comfortably. Quiet neighborhood. Not far from downtown Port Angeles. One thing that surprised us was that there were no starter items for the stay. None. One trash bag or dishwasher pod would have been nice given how late we arrived and weren't able to get to a grocery store immediately.

  • House is not as pictured

    This house at one time was very lovely as you can see in the pictures. When we arrived, we had to open all windows to air out smoke/weed smell. I have 38 photos of damaged and dirty areas of the home. We contacted property Manager within 5 minutes of our arrival. Here is a list of what was wrong that I have pics for that I would love to show the actual owner: 1. Blood on pillowcase 2. All dirty sheets that were taken off dirty beds were rolled and shoved back in the closet. 3. floors, couches, backyard furniture, shower curtains, towels (wet and stinky in closet), walls, carpet, coffee machine, washer were all extremely dirty. 4. yard and patio had lots of weeds. Some of their yard decorations were busted and crumbled. 5. door handle broken 6. Grill was broken but replaced. 7. outside propane fire pit broken 8. garbage cans full and garbage laying in driveway. 9. We had 3 rolls of toilet paper, no dish washer detergent, no garbage sacks and no paper towels. 10. couch bed broken. I could probably keep going, but I think this should give an idea of what we walked into. We spent 3 days washing linens/bedding/towels, cleaning inside and outside of the home on our vacation. I would love to talk to the owner because their home is not being taken care of. I've asked manager for the owners contact three times now with no response. I've stayed at many homes with VRBO and this is the first time we are very disappointed and will not return

    Hi Kylee, we’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. We strive to create a clean and welcoming environment for all our guests, and it's clear we missed the mark this time. After reviewing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:
    -We maintain a strict no-smoking policy inside the home. This issue was unfortunately not caught by our cleaner before your stay, and we apologize for the unpleasant odor. We’ll be taking extra steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
    -This is completely unacceptable, and we are deeply sorry for this oversight. We’ve spoken with our cleaning team to ensure this never happens in the future.
    -While the sheets were clean, they were not stored properly in the closet. We immediately sent another cleaner to address this and reorganize the linens.
    -We regret that these areas were not up to standard. The cleaning team has been made aware of these issues, and we’ve taken corrective action. Our handyman, who delivered the new grill, also cleaned the outdoor furniture during your stay.
    -We have regular landscaping services, but we’ve asked them to be more diligent with weed control moving forward.
    -The property manager was unable to locate the broken door handle during their visit. If you can provide more details, we’d be happy to investigate further.
    -We were unaware of the grill issue prior to your stay but replaced it the next day as soon as we were informed.
    -We were not aware of the fire pit’s condition before your visit. While we couldn’t repair it immediately, the manager provided wood for the alternative wood-burning fire pit.
    -We apologize for the garbage situation. The manager took care of it right away, and we’ll make sure the trash collection schedule is monitored more closely.
    -As for the supplies, (Toilet Paper, Detergent, etc.): This was an oversight, and we’ve taken steps to ensure the property is properly stocked for future guests. The manager provided these supplies the same day you raised the issue.
    -This sofa bed was not reported during your stay, but we are now investigating it to ensure it’s functional for future guests.
    The homeowner also shared that the cleaner responsible for these issues has been replaced, and we’re taking steps to prevent these problems from happening again. We truly appreciate your detailed feedback and are committed to improving the guest experience. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention. We hope you will consider giving us another chance in the future so we can provide you with the stay you deserve.
