  My family and I stayed when Temps were in the teens at night/ morning and highs in low 20s. Needless to say, it was colllllldddd. We did do some fishing on the dock and caught a couple trout. Too cold to take the provided boat and kayaks out. But will definitely look into renting this place again during the summer

  As for the cabin itself, plenty of room for myself and my family of 7. We let the kids use the downstairs area for themselves. While us adults stayed upstairs cooking, relaxing, watching the nfl playoffs. Our host was wonderful. Just asked a quick question a day before check in. Other than that, I didn't need to contact once during our stay. The cabin has more than enough silverware, pots, pans and dishes. There is no big dining room table, but a little table and three chairs. The table outside on the deck was more than enough to fit us. But sadly couldn't use cause of the freezing Temps. But all in all, we made it work. There are no tvs in the 3 bedrooms, but we preferred it that way. Gave us actual quality time to spend together in the living areas. I definitely recommend this place and hope to be back during the summer

• Quiet haven near town

  We loved the cozy cabin with the beautiful view! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with staples for cooking, everything was clean, and best of all, we could spend our evenings curled up next to the gas fireplaces. While a modest space, the space was perfectly laid out for a family with four energetic kids. We didn’t stay during warm weather but would love to return to enjoy grilling on the deck and making use of boats and fishing poles!

• Lake getaway

  My girlfriends and I take a week each year to decompress, reconnect, eat good food play games craft and watch movies. The lake house is very peaceful and relaxing. We took advantage of the covered decks to enjoy the view. Both fireplaces were put to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glasses , cookware and more. The week passed to quickly and we are already planning for next year’s trip.

• Great place

  Our group of 6 ladies stayed for a weekend workshop and had a lovely stay. House was clean and plenty of room. Lovely location and good communication from host.
