• Fit for Purpose

  The reason for our visit to Monroe was to participate in an event at the Evergreen Fairgrounds. The location was ideal - just a few minutes to the fairgrounds, groceries and other necessities, and easy access to major transportation routes. The property manager was quick and efficient to reply to my queries. All of the basic supplies were provided. We found the beds to be quite comfortable and were very happy with the cleanliness and how orderly the unit was.

  When we checked in we were concerned because the weather was extremely hot, and upstairs had one AC unit only (in the master). However, it did manage to keep the floor cooled as long as we kept the blinds and windows closed and the doors open. The main floor AC unit was excellent as well!

  I will suggest to the Property Manager that black-out curtains in all of the bedrooms would be a good upgrade- for both sleeping comfort and managing the temperature in the rooms.

• Just What We Needed

  The property was just as described and looked exactly like the pictures. It had plenty of space, perfect for family getaways. My daughter was getting married in Snohomish, and the property was only 10 minutes from the venue so the location was perfect. The only things I would suggest are adding TVs in the bedrooms and having an exterminator spray for insects, spiders, and ants. Also, there was a large cobweb on the front door. Other than that, it was a great stay, and I would recommend it.

  We came to Monroe for the spartan race. It was a great location for that, about an 8 minute drive from there. The house was nice and did the job. It was very close to Main Street which was nice for walking around. we would definitely stay here again. The reasons for giving it a 4 (really a 4.5) would be the house says it has a/c but it only have mini splits in the main room and in the master. We went on a nicer weekend so the bedrooms got warm so we ended up having to buy fans. Not the end of the world, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. Or if fans could be left at the house. The other reason was that the floors were very dirty. Everyone’s feet were basically black after walking around upstairs. We had kids, so that was kind of a bummer with them crawling around.
