  • Worked for our needs

This stay was not like the pictures. The grass was dead, the cabinets were hung crooked, there was only one roll of toilet paper in the entire house. We wound up having to go buy toilet paper. For the price, I expected more attention to detail.

I booked this place because it was close to base and dog friendly. In that sense it was perfect. But I wouldn’t stay here again. Having only one bathroom upstairs was kinda weird. Not a great location, unless you need to be close to base. Right off the highway and up against a gas station. Nowhere nice to walk around unless you drive somewhere. There weren’t any major crazy issues, but the small ones added up.

    Manager's Response:

Hi Kori, thanks for letting us know about your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following:
-"We're sorry to hear that the dry grass had an impact on your stay. It's worth noting that this time of year marks the tail end of summer, and our yard lacks a sprinkler system. It typically stays lush and green from mid-fall through early summer but starts browning during the peak of summer due to the absence of a sprinkler system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we assure you that with the arrival of fall, the yard will perk back up to its green state.
-In regard to the cabinets, while they may show some signs of age, it's not the cabinets themselves but rather the hinges on a few cabinet doors that might be slightly uneven. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll certainly address this.
-We're also sorry to hear that you ran out of toilet paper. We've spoken with our cleaning team to ensure they provide an ample supply – a minimum of two rolls or more, depending on the length of your stay and the number of guests.
-Regarding our location, we are conveniently situated right off I-5, providing easy access to JBLM and town. Our online listing clearly indicates that we have one bathroom, and it's conveniently located next to the bedrooms. We're always here to assist with any issues, and we regret not receiving an email, text, or voicemail from you as we would have promptly delivered more supplies.
We truly value your feedback as we're committed to offering the best possible stay and service to our guests."

  • Great stay in a beatiful city

We wish we would have had more time to explore. This property was very comfortable and homey. The back yard was wonderful, and exploring the town a bit was fun. We used the information book left by the owner to find destinations, food and other great information.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to get to and easy to get to other places from here. The walk to the unit was a bit rough as there is no actual sidewalk across part of the property, so no way to wheel suitcases. Also, the proximity of the freeway and Train out the back fence were news to us! Fortunately, we could not hear either of them inside the unit! It was comfortable, clean and as listed! We really enjoyed the campfire pit out back! Bonus!!! We will definitely try to book it again when we are in the area. Our grandson lives in Lakewood, attending Medical School. Thanks again!
