It is a beautiful property! We are outdoor people so we hung out on the deck and watched the dogs play!

The house is lovely, we particularly appreciated the art supplies.
The view from the yard was peaceful.
However, the washing machine was broken so we had to find a laundromat during our 7 day stay. I don’t go on vacation to sit in a laundromat for an afternoon. No financial adjustment was offered.
This was the first time we visited the PNW. We used the lake house as a base to visit Mt Rainer, Mt St Helens, and Olympic National Parks. After long days of hiking it was refreshing to return to the peaceful lake house. My teen boys loved the SUPs and playing in the lake. Because we had wonderful weather we were able to enjoy the outdoor spaces. We didn't have occasion to use the game room at all, but it looked like a great place to spend a rainy day. The house had a lot of interesting touches added by a woodworker. The host spent a good deal of time thinking about how families would use the space. If my kids were younger, I'd definitely appreciate the touches for younger children. A great place for families of all types.

We had such a wonderful experience in this quirky compound. We shared morning coffee with a doe and her fawn, and evening drinks with young bucks with fuzzy budding horns. The bedrooms were comfortable enough. The separate game room changed everything. Toys for every single age range. I loved all the art materials, and the encouragement to leave our artwork behind.
