It’s a nice little cabin with a great view of nearby mountains and being on the river. The pictures make it seem a little more private than it is (there’s neighbors directly on both sides) but plenty of trees and fence to make it feel mostly private. The hot tub was perfect for a cold PNW day and night. Location is convenient for stevens pass, but not too far into the mountains where the roads were slick. The cabin was very clean and had everything you could ask for for a rental property. Beds were decent, although a little noisy. Would definitely recommend this place for a couple or two!

I'd like to break my review down into pros and cons. Pros:The house is beautiful and in a stunning a location right on the river.Great space for a couples get away or family time. They had a total of 4 queen size beds ( 2 in each room ) The dining table is a great size and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. The neighbors didn't appear to be home so it was very quiet. Hot tub was clean and worked well. Wifi worked well also. Cons: When we arrived it was pouring down rain and all I wanted was to get the fireplace going, the fireplace does not work. I reached out to the manager and she informed me that the gas company needed to come and light the pilot. The fireplace was a huge reason why I booked this cabin because it was cold out and I wanted a cozy place to relax. Also when we arrived the house was pretty clean for the most part but in the master bedroom there was trash on the floor, a candy wrapper and a ziplock bag, there was popcorn in the living area on the floor and hair / dirt on the kitchen floor. Our second day in the cabin we had no running water ALL day. Literally from 8am to 6pm at night there was no running water. There were 3 of us and one bathroom to share. My husband had to drive to the nearest store and get jugs of water just so we could flush the toilet - while I understand this wasn't in the hosts control, it was a planned by the city to turn off the water and I wish we would have been informed prior to our stay. Please know that the fan above the stove does not work so if you plan on cooking open the windows because it gets smokey! 1 small bathroom in the whole place, it wasn't a big deal for us but just keep it in mind if you have a large family. overall we enjoyed our stay for the location. The river flooded and got super high but it was honestly cool to see. I highly recommend Wallace falls if you like to hike, and Vicks burger shack is SO good. Also get pie from Mountain view diner.

We loved our stay. The house was very clean and well equipped. I forgot coffee and low and behold there was coffee!!
What a cute house, great back yard with river access. We were glad we added an additional day.
Our family of four stayed for two nights to attend a wedding in Index. The house was super clean and cozy with bright colors and an artistic aesthetic. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bedrooms were very comfortable, including the futon style beds tucked under the eves. Our teens loved the privacy curtains! We enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated that it was turned on and warm when we arrived (something you can't always count on). A bonus was that the home had an EV charger on the outside wall next to the driveway. Although you're asked to bring your own cables, their ChargePoint cable worked perfectly for our Chevy Bolt. The only thing to note is that the internet connectivity was laggy during our stay. It didn't hinder us much and may not have been related to the house (maybe internet provider), but would recommend getting additional wifi boosters. Finally, the point at the end of the yard to enjoy the view and access river was lovely. We would recommend staying here and will be back if we're in the area again.
