  Very nicely decorated. Bed was very comfy and we slept well. New appliances in kitchen. Washer and dryer so nice to have. Bathroom tub and shower fixtures very nice with wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. A few "idiosyncrasies" such as a the bathroom door which wouldn't fully latch and the bathroom sink drain which wouldn't close fully.Would suggest adding a grab bar in shower for your next senior guests (we're both 68).

• Beautiful cottage! Perfect location!

  The cottage was very private and comfortable in a quiet location with bay views. We had everything we needed. The host responded immediately to any questions we had. The location is fantastic with ferry to San Juan Islands, hiking, beaches, fresh seafood, and grocery close by. Easy access to I-5 permitted a day-trip to Vancouver, Canada. Anacortes is a quaint little town. Highly recommend a visit to the nearby Pacific Blanket Trading Post and the town of Edison.

• Dump the 3rd party Property Manager

  Warning: booking a stay at this property will sign you up to receive endless email and text spam from a 3rd party property management company. They will send you incorrect and confusing information about the listing. If you attempt to contact the property owner about, say, the toilet not working, they will respond and say they are "Opening a Case" and then do nothing during your entire stay, and then email you after you checkout asking how your stay was.... This message is for the owner: you have a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Dump the property management agency. And please fix the toilet.

  Enjoyed the stay. Very comfy and nicely decorated. Was nice to come back to property after a tiring day out and about.

• Charming stay

  As two couples we found this house to have everything we needed. The views over the bay out the front windows were soothing. From the extra-comfy beds to the beautifully appointed main room, this little bungalow served us well. Maya was very helpful, too.
