We had a wonderful stay here. The home was so comfortable for our party of five. The sofa was really cozy for all of us. We found everything we needed to cook some meals, and were minutes from a grocery store. The location was fantastic, and the house managers were super responsive. They were also extremely helpful when our flight was canceled and we had to spend an extra night. We would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay. The house had everything our group needed, was clean, comfortable, and the management was excellent. When our flight plans were disrupted, the management was very helpful to us. We would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived, the property had no outside lights lit and it was very hard to find the property and enter the code for the lockbox. The indoor stairway to the second floor was narrow and uneven. The floors were uneven and slippery for my elderly mother. I've stayed in many VRBOs over the past year and I was disappointed by how much we had to spend on this property and I expected a much higher quality. We also ran out of hot water after two adults had showered. The property also is not that close to Church Street or the UVM campus. I wish we had stayed in a hotel.

Hi Michelle, thank you for taking the time to share your review. We greatly appreciate your feedback, and we would like to share some insights from the homeowner:
-We appreciate your feedback regarding the exterior motion light. We will promptly investigate to check if a bulb has gone out or if there was any inadvertent deactivation.
-It's important to note that the property was constructed in the 1960s, and the dimensions of the stairs, as well as the flooring material (faux wood laminate), remain consistent with the images in the listing. We do not have plans to carpet the property.
-We employ a dynamic pricing algorithm aimed at setting competitive rates based on the property and its surrounding area. These rates may fluctuate with the changing seasons or during holidays. We apologize if you felt it did not offer good value during your stay.
-We will explore the possibility of adjusting the water heater to enhance hot water availability. Please be aware that the property employs a standard capacity home water heater tank, which is not undersized.
-We provide a map on our listing to offer guests an approximate idea of the property's location before booking. Additionally, we encourage guests to conduct some research on the area to ensure it aligns with their needs.
Our commitment to all our guests is to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests as evidenced in all other reviews.
We had a very nice stay here. There were 5 of us here much of the time with 4 sleeping in the house; the 5th, my nephew, is a UVM undergrad, and has his own apt. Great location in terms of quiet residential area with easy walks to grocery etc stores and hiking/biking trail and short drives to campus and Winooski. And importantly for us as we were gathering to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the kitchen met our needs for cooking holiday meals. Heather and Sam were wonderful hosts, answered texts quickly and were easy to work with around early check-in/late check-out. When we contacted them with a concern they *immediately* addressed it and were a pleasure to communicate with — the kind of hosts you always hope for but don’t always encounter!
We were visiting our son who's a student at UVM.
We wanted a residential location convenient to his apartment, the lake, hiking, shopping, restaurants and a dog park, and this was ideal.
We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen, streaming TV, laundry capability and fenced-in backyard.
We expect to rent here again.
