CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check-in after 4:00 pm
- The lockbox is located at the front door. The code will be: 6. To open the lockbox, please follow the instructions below:
- Enter ' 6 '
- Push slider button on top of the number pad down and hold it while simultaneously pulling the number pad out of the box
- You may have to leverage the square button at the top of the number pad to help pull it out (it is hard to grip otherwise)
- Do not take the key off the clip; open the front door and return the key to the lockbox before going into the house. There is NO lockout service which makes it important to return the key to the lockbox as soon as you are in the house in case you lock yourself out at some point during your stay
- To settle the key and number pad back into the box, depress the square button at the top of the number pad and push the pad in until it clicks back into place
- There are keys inside on the kitchen counter for your use during your stay
- To unlock/lock the front door from inside the house, the key needs to be used (do not leave the key in the front door). To lock the door from the inside of the house, lift the door handle while turning the deadbolt (or key) for the front door. To unlock the doors from inside the house, just turn the deadbolt
- Please inform the Guest Contact of any problems or concerns upon arrival, so we can work to address these immediately

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check-out before 10:00 am
- Return the key to the lockbox
- Prior to your departure, please do a light tidying up of the house
- Strip the beds and place all used linens and towels in the laundry room
- Remove and dispose of all food from the refrigerator and freezer. Remove and dispose of all other food you brought into the house
- The trash bins in the house should be emptied and the trash bags placed into the trash barrels located on the back outside deck. Please leave the barrels secured to the rail with the bungee cords

HOUSE RULES:
- No smoking (this includes smoking on the deck, porch, patio, and front porch)
- No pets allowed
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- No parties or large gatherings
- Please report any damage that occurs to both the Guest Contact and Evolve
- The garage and back area of the basement are off limit to guests
- Please respect the neighbors and others around the property. Do not go onto others' property
- Guest are not allowed to dig a fire pit on the lawn or beach
- Fireworks are not legal for personal use in Vermont and not allowed to be used on the property at any time
- The owner is not responsible for items left behind. If guests notify the owner and if the items are found, the return fee will be $25 plus postage
- The house will be cleaned before and after your stay. If you wish to have the house cleaned during your stay, please call Mary at 802-796-3300 to arrange to pay for this service
- Septic System and Wells: The property is a private septic and well system and must be treated with care. Please do not flush anything but toilet paper. Do not run the water unnecessarily. The water pressure will be very low if everyone showers at the same time
- Washer/Dryer: The washing machine is high efficiency. The detergent goes in the drawer on the left of the machine. There is a latch for the detergent drawer where you would normally put your fingers to open the drawer. Slide the latch to the right while simultaneously opening the drawer. The dryer is high efficiency, so you will need a shorter time to dry clothes than normal. Clean the lint trap before each load in order for the dryer to work properly. The lint trap is located inside the dryer near the door
- Lake Access: You can enter the lake at the foot of the property (to the left if you are facing the lake). Use of the lake and boats is at your own risk
- Maintenance: Problems in the house will be handled in a timely and professional manner, but are subject to availability of repair people. There will be no refunds or adjustments for malfunctioning equipment
- If there is a maintenance issue, please call Mary at 802-796-3300. If there is no answer, please leave a detailed message, and she will get back to you as soon as possible
- This is a rural home and as such will not have the amenities that more urban settings might have
