This home was clean, well appointed and comfortable for the 5 adults in our party. We enjoyed the fireplace and cozy living room in the evenings. Would definitely recommend to persons looking for a get away spot in the Wintergreen resort area.
We had a wonderful time at this VRBO! We had everything we needed to comfortably stay for a weekend with our 12 and 10 year olds. Had a great time hiking on the trails during the day, relaxing at the house at night. The house was just the right size for us and so cozy! Water pressure after a long day of hiking was PERFECT!

We stayed here a few years ago and it wasn't the same this time. There are a few positives, the beds are comfortable, there's room for the whole family and the house is set in the woods and very quiet. The door has remote entry and the driveway is paved. For the negatives, I will start with the back deck. Such a beautiful setting to sit outside if it was taken care of. We had to secure the overgrown tree branches to the deck so we could sit outside. Had to drive to town to buy a broom so we could sweep the deck off. I don't think it had been swept all season. The big plastic storage bin in the corner was full of garbage that had been there for months and was disgusting. We cleaned it and hauled it away so we could even sit outside without smelling it. The grill was broke and dirty so my husband cleaned it up and got it working where we were able to light it manually so we could grill. The entire deck needs to be pressure washed. The inside needs a good cleaning of all the cobwebs and the dirty ceiling fans (which we also cleaned so we could use them). There was no cable as is stated. We couldn't even get the tv's on because all the batteries in the remotes were dead. Went to use the gas fireplace and couldn't get it to work. Contacted the management and no one ever called us back. We basically should be paid back the cleaning fee. I feel all this falls on the management which is not doing their job. I hope the owner reads these reviews as I would think they would want to know. At this price point I was very disappointed. We won't stay here again but maybe the people behind us will have it better off then us since we did so much.
My family and our friends enjoyed staying here for a quick 3 day weekend. The house was cozy, spacious (the lower level was awesome for the kids and the adults could still hear them upstairs), beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with most essentials. Quick ride to the lifts and the little coffee shop at the corner was great. I usually love a wood burning fireplace on ski trips but the gas was actually quite nice since we didn’t have to keep messing with the fire.
