  We enjoyed this property for our family lake vacation. The resort had tons of activities for the kids and the lake is gorgeous. The rental has everything you need for a short stay.

• Life is better at the beach

  Great views, and great access to the boat dock. The host was super responsive, which we really appreciated. The home was comfortable and everything worked as expected. Community was fantastic. We wish we would’ve made a reservation for the on property restaurant earlier, as it was fully blocked when we did. Otherwise, super super vacation. Thank you!

• Rocky start, great stay

  Cleaners came 20 min after 4pm move-in! We filled the fridge then left them to it - came back to a better situation. Contacting owner was fast & comfortable.The townhouse is wonderful! The layout is very friendly to large groups – we had our kids and their kids all there. Casual décor was comfortable, clean and homey, not fussy or unfriendly. Plenty of plates, wine glasses, cookware, etc., not just 4 pieces of each. Beds were comfy, towels and blankets plentiful (in case your daughter also runs the AC on cold!) 3 bathrooms were nice, tho we ran out of hot water when everyone showered the sand off at the same time! Learning curve.The staggered design of the property was enough to make you not see any neighbors, except in the shared driveway (which really does hold 4 cars easily). Very good privacy. Perhaps 30 yards across grass to a boat/swimming dock & a few minutes’ walk to your choice of 2 sandy beaches. Big shade tree out there too. We didn’t have any rainy days but there were plenty of games and puzzles. The kids discovered Tom & Jerry cartoons and the TVs & wi-fi were fine.Do check out the Rubber Ducky Rodeo on summer Thursdays at the clubhouse pool if you have little kids! Cons: A sliding door stuck badly but owner will replace soon.No vacuum available despite lots of pine needles getting tracked in.Bring your own laundry pods, paper towels, hand soap, night lights! Dish detergent and coffee filters were already there. We left a couple dish towels there.

• Vacation

  This area is great for couples who need a reprieve from work, and who desire to slow down and enjoy a day or more on the lake. People friendly. Pet friendly. it’s so quiet at night especially, to the point that it’s almost eerie quiet. Great place overall!!

• Lakeside Bliss

  This home checked all the boxes for us. The room layout worked well with a queen bedroom and the twins downstairs, so my daughter could be on the same floor as the little kids. Everyone had their own bathroom as well. It has comfortable furnishing and having 2 separate living areas plus the porch allowed for separate space as needed. We hung out on the porch almost exclusively. The slight breeze through the oak tree lakeside provided a soothing sound to sip morning coffee and afternoon drinks. We lounged under the shade of the tree and the grass expanse offered room to play catch or corn hole. The proximity to the 2 beaches and pool was perfect. Don't hesitate to book this property.

  Side note: we had celebratory dinner at Napoli. We wanted a really nice restaurant with great food and we weren't sure there would be a lot to choose from. Reviews were terrific so we made a reservation. It is everything that the reviews say as every dish was done to perfection an desserts were all homemade.
