The views in the mornings were amazing. Sitting out on the screened in deck drinking coffee listening to the birds sing was perfect way to start the day. Cant say about evenings as it was usually late when we got back. It was well lit up when we arrived. It was a busy week. 7 people for a graduation at Liberty University. About an hour away, closest we could get that was this nice.
Place was very spacious and bedrooms were large. Kitchen well stocked was nice. An icemaker that works well was nice after last 2 places we've stayed didnt work well. Inside furniture was comfortable upstairs and downstairs. Our friend raved about the downstairs sofa saying she wanted one at home.
Outside is nice. The backyard has some hills, but plenty of room in the back and a several ways to walk out easily.
It was very clean.
We did have a bed that they told us had a broken frame on our way there. They communicated very well and did offer to have it fixed the next morning. We ended up not needing it so it wasnt a big deal for us.
The only downside to me was the whole garbage thing. If the dumpsters were closer i wouldn't think much about it, but to drive almost 3 miles out on the highway was a bit much. If we had stayed and cooked more like we normally do i can see having to do that more than on the way out which is just not what i am looking for in a vacation rental. We would consider staying there again, i personally will pay more attention in that region to the garbage details.
