Just what we needed.
5/5 Once again Evolve landed us a great house on the lake for a very relaxing stay. The Island Retreat house was everything we had hoped it would be; clean, comfortable, right on the lake, and private.
Even though the weather was not "lake friendly" the house was perfect for just hanging out. The house was stocked with everything we needed to just show up with groceries and get away from it all. We will definitely look to Evolve again when we schedule our next hideaway trip.
BTW; if you get a chance to stay in this area, try Alessandro's Pizzeria. The pizza was good, the service was great, and the carrot cake was exceptional. We made a second trip back just to get more to take with us back to the lake house.
Canadian Thanksgiving
5/5 We had a group of family/friends who got together for Canadian Thanksgiving. We managed turkey and all the fixings and took turns doing meals so everyone had some down time. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were super comfortable. The space worked for everyone! The fire pit got used as well!

Perfect location and view
5/5 Beautiful view with tons of spaces to relax and take it all in. We loved the kayaks, the porch swing, large family room upstairs, comfy beds. Marina is close enough to walk to and recommend renting a boat and getting out on the gorgeous lake. We literally saw more deer than people on our stay. My only complaint was gas fireplaces are not hooked up but we used the firepit outside instead.
Best view on the Lake
5/5 We have stayed in many rental houses/cabins over the years, and this is definitely one of the best we have rented. The view from all the windows in the house is amazing! But the house itself is great as well. It had everything we needed for 2 families. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking supplies. Comfortable beds, nice towels, nice furniture, 2 Smart TVs and a game system for the kids. One of the bathrooms is updated, the other is older but works fine. The best feature is the outdoor decks and dock. Rented a pontoon boat from nearby Parkway Marina and dock was easy to tie up to. And as an added bonus we were able to bring our dog. Would stay again.
