The hosts were both very welcoming! Back entry to apartment has been made cozy by them with fairy lights and other touches. They don't control the shared back lawn across which one walks, but not too far from side parking lot for suitcases, etc.
Bathroom well stocked with lovely products and towels. Son said pull-out sofa was comfy for one person. Would stay again for any needs in DC area - convenient to major highways and price and hospitality can't be beat!
From the Owner: "Thank you for your kind comments. It was nice hosting you and your family. We look forward to hosting you again in the future when you visit the Centreville area."
The price of this one-bedroom apartment was definitely a draw for us. It had a seating area, a table for two, a large bathroom, and a separate bedroom, plus a sink/ "kitchenette" area. We found it very comfortable for two people during our six-day stay. It is a basement apartment in a three-story townhouse, though the stairs leading to the main house are locked off. The access is at the rear ground-level. This is likely to be a negative to some people because the entry is down an unlit common area at the rear of two rows of townhouses. We used our phone lights and had no problem, but it would not be good for anyone with more than a moderate level of disability, as the ground is a little uneven. But this location meant it was quiet, even on Halloween. The host was very nice. She gave us our parking pass (parking is limited to certain sites). The only other caveat would be that this would not be the place for someone planning on doing any real cooking. There is an apartment sized fridge, coffee pot, microwave, toaster oven, and a couple other things, and the electrical breakers can only handle so much, but we only used the coffee pot and the microwave and ate away from the room during our stay, so that was not an issue for us. The price of this unit reflected these limitations. It has easy access to stores, Starbucks, and restaurants and is close to Route 28, freeway access to all points in Northern Virginia.

This one bedroom apartment was perfect for my vacation, nice table for working, large shower, queen sized bed. Will consider again for next year's trip.
From the owner: "Thank you, Jillian, for your feedback. We are glad that our unit was perfect for your vacation, and we look forward to hosting you next time. Blessings!"

From the owner: "Hi Mark, it was nice having you as guests in our unit. Thanks for the detailed feedback with all the positive comments and highlighting the areas of improvement. We will review them closely and seek ways of improving them. With best regards."
Comfortable bed in a nice neighborhood. Communication with property managers was great. Easy check out, and Christiana was very friendly and helpful upon
Only downside is that the people who love above this Vrbo can be heard for voices and walking around; creaking floors mean a creaky ceiling. Putside of that apartment-type normality, I have no complaints. Very comfortable stay, would do so again.
