5/5 Buchanan is a small town that is close to everything. Natural Bridge, wineries, breweries, James River, downtown Roanoke Market, beautiful Mountain View’s, Blue Ridge Parkway, ect.The Anchorage B & B was exquisite, historical, well equipped, warm and inviting and the hosts were absolutely amazing! We needed 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, proximity to Roanoke and Daleville. This beautiful house had it all! Thank you for a wonderful setting for our family Christmas!

Anchorage House
5/5 Beautifully restored 1840 Home in the beautiful Shenandoah valley. Our hosts were absolutely amazing! The house was impeccable. Clean, and well appointed with anything you could want or need.
We were staying over Christmas, walked into the home which was fully decorated outside and in. (6 Christmas trees decorated in the house).
We have stayed in multiple VRBO vacation homes and the Anchorage Home was the best overall. Thank you!

5/5 It was amazing! The pictures are fabulous, but they do not do this house justice! It is so big and so beautiful! We had a beautiful time with family. The big family room and dining room combination was perfection! We fit 13 people at that table for breakfast and had a beautiful family gathering in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, eat on and drink out of. It was complimentary snacks and candy. The fish tank, the chickens and ducks were a huge hit with the kids! The neighbors were nice as well and people would just wave at you as they were driving by. If we ever decide to come to this area again, I will definitely try and book this house first! 5 stars all around!
