Okay, but could use improvement
3/5 We stayed here for a family wedding. This was a good location for us, but we did have some disappointments. The beds were comfortable and there were 4 bedrooms. The bedroom doors squeaked when we opened, so one of our members had trouble sleeping when the doors opened and closed during the night.The owners or staff were present during our stay. They were working in the basement. They were very friendly and seemed accommodating. The overall place was clean, but the carpentry was not the quality we have experienced in other rentals. The carpet was disgusting and full of stains. The fixtures were dated and full of caulk. There were paint patches all over the ceiling. There appliances were nice, but the ice maker was not working. There were some snacks available. The lawn was mowed, but full of weeds and not trimmed. This was not an issue for us because we were not outside.The views were outstanding, but there was no outdoor seating to enjoy it.The house was located on a very busy street, so the noise could be a problem for some. Overall, our stay was fine and might have been improved if we would have contacted the owners. A few inexpensive changes by a professional would really improve this property.
