Beautiful house, beautiful area, but beware of the barn
5/5 We loved this house and property, and it served us well! Our only complaint is that the write-up didn't talk about the barn being used for other purposes/events. There were people (who were friends with the owner) working or celebrating at the barn almost the whole time we were there - dawn to as late as 1 A.M.! At one point, it was definitely a full-on party with many cars. Unfortunately this was fairly close to the house and right in our view as we sat on the patio with the hot-tub. It may not have been a deal-breaker if we had known, but it felt like a breach to not have it shown on the rental page that the barn would be used in this way - so we could choose whether or not to stay here under the circumstances.
