If your not used to country living this property is not for you.Rambling ranch is large and dated. Comfortable for a large family or 2 couples. The water is well water not city water. Bring drinking water with if you don't like well water. Very quiet area but only about 10 minutes from Navasota town.No WiFi but it does have DISH TV. Property Owner was responsive and took care of the few issues we had. Very nice stay for getting away from hussle of city life.

Home is in need of some updates. Water is well water and hot water does have a smell when showering.
Property is more like staying at a relatives place as there are many personal items like photos and memorabilia in dressers and around the house.
Master bedroom was nice. The hard water leaves rust stains on all of the sinks and toilets.
The rural setting is very peaceful for getting away from city life. Pastures surround the property with cattle and horses roaming.
No internet access unless you use a hotspot. Direct TV connection for TV entertainment.
We were able to grill out. There is a large kitchen with most every appliance. Especially liked the dishwasher.
Owner is very responsive and took care of any issues we had. Richard was very friendly and we had some nice conversations about the property.
What a beautiful piece of property that has been in the family for generations. Richard was the perfect host and checked on us each evening as he rode around the ranch. You must visit just to relax and remind yourself of the really important things in life! Look forward to returning..

I never considered Navasota as an ideal vacation spot, but this weekend has changed my mind. The property is nestled atop a slight rise with a stunning view of open pastures speckled with patches of forest. The owner is friendly and responsive. I arrived to a welcome of a frosty beer and a massive 3-bedroom single story ranch house. The place was built by generations of love, and has a rustic country feel. The construction is old and the styling is dated, but that only adds to the charm of the place. It feels like home. The owner happens to also own a bee farm half a mile down the road, and offered me and the boys a tour.I will be visiting this location again. 10/10
