5/5 The Rustic Retreat lived up to my expectations of a quiet, clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay during my time in La Grange. The attention to detail from high speed internet, to the Vertuo Espresso maker made this “Rustic” cabin a new aged experience. In the August heat, the A/C had no issues keeping up with the demand to keep the cabin cool. The location was ideal for accessing activities in Austin, antiquing, and exploring the many wineries in the area. An added bonus was the beautiful lake and umbrella tree in the backyard. I will definitely be back!

Just what we needed.
5/5 Once we pulled into the property, we felt home and fully relaxed. We left Galveston to get away from the Memorial Day craziness and this is what we needed. Peaceful, birds, cows and fresh air!We will rent this cabin again!!

You Will Enjoy It
5/5 The host Silviano was responsive and communicative. We have visited quite a few log cabins around the country and here in Texas, and we truly appreciated this one. We can tell the host put great emphasis on providing his visitors a great experience. The cabin is clean, cozy, and decorated with attention to detail. It has high end furnishings such as the entertainment system with Bose, high speed internet that is truly high speed, Nespresso coffee maker with abundant coffee pods, adjustable
bed, nice towels, good water pressure, etc. The living room has windows on three sides which is rare for log cabins. Try it yourself and you will enjoy your time here. Thanks Silviano !
