Didn't Get to Stay
2/5 We arrived early for our check-in which was accomodated easily and we were grateful for that. The house was nice and well kept but the pool was green and unusable. The owner let us know that it would be serviced the next day so we wouldn't be able to swim for two out of our 3 days there. We chose this place because of the pool so this was very unfortunate. I asked if there was a way to discount our stay since the pool wasn't usable but the owner told us she would refund our stay in total. We were stuck trying to find a new place for our group. Fortunately, we found a place down the street that was available and worked for us.

Hi Jessica, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced an issue during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We sincerely apologize for your vacation not working out as planned and we are taking steps to prevent the pool from turning green after heavy rainfalls in the future. It seems that increased river activity leading up to and following the 4th of July, combined with the hot weather, contributed to the algae blooms that affected the pool during your stay.
The pool is now serviced 2x weekly by a highly experienced technician, and we are confident in his ability to maintain the pool properly.
-We were happy to provide a full refund for your canceled stay.

A Week of Memory Making
5/5 This home was perfect for our family! We brought seven of our grandchildren for a week of cousin camp. This was our second summer staying in Sharon’s beautiful home. Our grandsons fished directly behind the house and caught catfish, perch, and bass. All of our grands loved the pool and hot tub. This home easily sleeps 10, with room to spare. The extra large dining table was perfect for all of our crafts and games. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. The entire property is extremely clean and well maintained. Sharon is a gracious hostess and always quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely return for another week of MikeyMimi camp.

5/5 House was very clean, plenty of room, and great views. Pool was wonderful! Great location, close to HEB, & house was nicely stocked and plenty of bath/kitchen towels. Great communication with host throughout stay. Definitely would stay again.
