  We loved everything we invited more people but they never showed so the house was a good size for three people and we enjoyed it soon as we arrived we ordered pizza and the the next day we had a uber come pick us up great neighbors and neighborhood

  My toddler absolutely loved this house for some reason. They had a lot of toys for her and The yard was such a great fun space. I loved the doggy door! Just a really good sized house and very comfortable

• Not Ideal

  The contact (Tara) was great! The house was lacking in what was described on Vrbo. The layout was weird as there isn't really a “main” room with a bathroom. There are 3 bedrooms behind a door with a lack hook lock (concerning) along with other rooms with slide locks on the OUTSIDE of the rooms. The only bathrooms were also behind the lack hook lock door. We were asked to strip all beds of linens at checkout. We did just to find pillows that were awfully stained, smelled old and the beds were not ideal. I understand the house is old but it would be a great house with a little more attention. One last thing, we were under the impression we would have the entire house to ourselves but the day of check-in Tara informed me there was another person staying in the garage. That was disconcerting and upsetting but I had already paid in full and didn't have the option of canceling with a refund of any kind.Again, Tara was a fantastic host but the house feels “creepy” and unkept.

  Hi Christy, thanks for your review. The owner welcomes your feedback, and would like to share the following:
  - The listing clearly states there is another vacation rental on-site, and other travelers may be present during your stay. Much like a duplex, a wall is shared but the spaces are completely private, with separately divided back yards and even separate entryways. The only time guests might see each other is in the driveway, just like other neighbors.
  - I am sorry you were disappointed with the pillows. I just re-ordered some quality pillows to replace the current ones. I hope you enjoyed the sheets; They are quality bamboo fabric. They are the softest sheets I’ve ever owned so I decided to share this comfort with guests at my properties as well.
  - I'm disheartened to hear you felt the house was "creepy and unkempt." I work hard to keep the property well managed with an amazing team, including cleaners, on-call maintenance specialists, a lawn team, and pest control service. I find it to be cozy with a spacious layout, large backyard, and walking trails a few steps away from the front door.

  Home not at all as described- non working TVs in both rooms- Home not "dirty" but pretty close -- Had another tenet on property -- literally 15 feet away from our common area Kids and older adults very uncomfortable - Did not feel comfortable leaving belongings/ opening doors / windows etc -- Homeowner very nice , very friendly but we left and rented hotel rooms after 30 mins --- Would be nice to receive some type of refund -- Would not recommend -- Not at all as pictured

  "That morning when you checked in early, you communicated the issue with the TV and that you would be in touch after your stadium tour. I was expecting your next message, and I was available, willing, and ready to help you. That day I ordered a new TV remote, which arrived the next day.
  Regarding another tenant, as the listing clearly states, the main house is split and divided from a garage apartment, just like a duplex. The yards are divided by a fence to provide privacy, and the 3-car driveway is the only space that is shared.
  I’m very sorry that you felt unsafe. Safety is priority to us, and I am surprised that you never mentioned your feeling unsafe, and only contacted me about not being able to connect to the TV. We have security cameras at each entrance, a smart door lock that only provides access to invited guests, and motion sensor lights outside the house. We also have a strong rapport with our neighbors as well as a wonderful team who is ready to help me make improvements and address issues whenever necessary."
