Great Location and setup!
4/5 Would have given five stars, but the steps down to the dock/boathouse are in very bad shape and are dangerous to negotiate. Very nice to be right on the river and the house and parking are definitely as advertised.

Beautiful sunsets on the deck, and peacefulness in the hammock on the dock.
Plenty of room for kids to run and play. Kitchen well stocked and loved the Traeger that was available to use. Hubby loved the tv!
Hope to return to “Riverwood” soon!
My Family’s Favorite Place on Earth
5/5 This house is my family’s favorite place ever. We have stayed multiple times now. Whenever we have vacation time we love to go to “Riverwood”.
I’m not sure where to start. The view is breathtaking, sunset is my favorite time of day. My kids Love jumping off the deck with the rope swing. (They even did it in the winter.) During the warmer months we all love to float in the river.
The house is huge, this stay we had three families staying at the same time and plenty of room for everyone. We made lots of family memories with all the cousins together.
We loved playing games and roasting marshmallows for s’more! Hanging on the deck with family was something I’ll always treasure.
The kids also enjoyed playing football, soccer and baseball in the large yard. My seven year old caught his first catfish on the dock. He was beyond excited!
We all slept great and mattress’s were super comfortable. The Riverwood house is always exactly what my family needs, to rest and relax and spend time together as a family.

5/5 We were given the opportunity to stay there before it was officially posted and it was amazing!! The rooms are huge. The whole house is super clean and super unique. The backyard was huge and the kids got to run around and have a blast. Then we went down to the private dock and we’re blown away. I was amazed at the house and the backyard but when we got to the private dock, it was mind blowing. Gorgeous place and location. I will definitely be back again very soon!!
