• Relaxing lake house

• Deck need some TLC

  property was good other than the deck needing a lot of TLC. Wished there had been Kleenex provided only vrbo property that I’ve used without them. And then the rental company kept texting and calling me to pay a deposit for a dog I don’t have. Contacted the owner said that wasn’t for me and she had contacted them, but they were still calling after I left the property. Not the owners fault but the rental agent. Beds are good nice size property, great instructions for entering the property. Lake access is great if you have people wanting to swim

• Peaceful Location - some areas need attention

  The good: the location was very peaceful and in a nice neighborhood. There was a convenience store close by and it is not too far from grocery stores. Plenty of cooking pots & pans in the kitchen. The common spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms were nice sizes. The shaded back porch and boat upper deck were our favorite places.

  What needs improvement:

  The hot tub - the first day, we couldn't get the heat to work and eventually our contact instructed us how and where to flip a breaker. Unfortunately, the water was filthy, so much so that we chose not to get it in it the rest of the week. Towards the end of our week, we realized we could have requested they come clean it but by that point it was too late. So, basically, we never got to use to the hot tub due to its malfunction and uncleanliness.

  We ran out of kitchen trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels on our first full day at the house, and requested more from the hosts. It took them a day to bring us more, so we bought our own.

  The bed in the primary bedroom was so soft and unsupporting, we sank completely into it, like a burrito!

  "Hi Holly, I apologize for the problem you encountered with the hot tub. With the Summer heat index of over 100°, the heat pump shut down temporarily, which was indicated by the "HL" error on the control panel you received. Like any other computer, a reset by turning the main switch off and then back on was needed to clear the error.
  
  The hot tub is serviced after every guest and routinely emptied, sanitized, and refilled based on usage. I am sorry if it was not as clean as you like it.
  
  As a standard, all trash bins are supplied with fresh bags and two additional bags for guests' use. We also provide a roll and one backup of paper towels, and each bathroom has two additional rolls of toilet paper. I have never had a guest run out of supplies after one day, so I do apologize again for this inconvenience. I have spoken to my cleaners, and I ensured this standard is being met. The additional supplies were indeed supplied to you the very next day.
  
  Regarding the bed's comfort, it really is a matter of personal preference. However, the additional foam padding could have been removed to make a firmer mattress. We were not told this was an issue until now.
  
  Rest assured, I take all input seriously and use it to try to maintain the highest standards for my guests. I hope that you return soon and see for yourself a marked improvement.

• Trip to Harbor Point

  We had a few rainy days but had a couple of really nice days. Temperatures in the 80's in July was wonderful. This place is so beautiful an relaxing just what we needed! Thank you so much for having such a great place so I. could relax and get my mind off of work! I would recommend this tental ver much@
