Great House
4/5 My husband and adult kids all enjoyed staying in this property. The location was perfect for our needs and the house was comfy/cozy.
I found a few things which the cleaner missed and that's no fault of the property manager - they should speak with the cleaner/cleaners about checking the oven (in which we found a baked potato, wrapped in foil, on an oily baking sheet); and running a Swiffer duster under the bed in the main bedroom (wood floors, the other two bedrooms were carpeted); and running a duster around all the areas of the house, floors and corners, perimeters.
Lots of nice extras included with the property, such as toiletries, laundry soap; dishwashing soap; but again - the cleaner or whomever checks on the place between rentals, should check for dishwasher pods (they were out); and such. I had luckily packed a couple of pods from home (because I'm that kind of traveler), so we could wash the dishes which we used.
One big drawback was the fact that they would not allow us to have our kids' grandmother and aunt come over for a short visit. "Forbidden!" we were told, after the booking and only 7 days before the start of our vacation. The language in the posting and in the rental agreement itself is confusing and unclear on that point - management only clarified it for me after my repeated email requests for permission to have my husband's mother (who lives only a couple of blocks away from the property) come over for dinner or a coffee.
