This home was such a great home for our group. We had 14 people (adults, young teens, and a toddler). There was plenty of space for us all which was so nice as that many people can be overwhelming at times, but it never seemed to get that way. Plenty of bedrooms with a bathroom for each (which was amazing!)All new appliances. The house was very clean upon arrival. Easy to check in. The owner - he was such a great communicator. He responded on any and every question we had. Internet service was great - I was worried with the storm prior to our visit - but never had a problem. There is one TV in the living area - and none in the rest of the house - but honestly - I loved that. It forced us all to relax in the living area together (watching movies, playing trivia, listening to music). If we wanted, we could go to our rooms and use our tablets/phones, again our rooms were quiet and spaced out. The location in regards to getting to the beach was GREAT, we opted out of a golf cart but it would have been so great if you have one or get one bc..the drive is just right down the road to get to the beach entrance. The beach area on Wednesday was not busy at all, we felt like we were the only ones there. By Friday and Saturday there were more families, but still we had such a great time and did not feel overcrowded. The house is located a bit from all the hustle and bustle of the pier and downtown but there are a couple of restaurants, a dollar general, a grocery, and gas stations close enough if anything is needed. Tips: Mosquitos were kind of bad - just take plenty of spray/or get candles. The washer and dryer were amazing - just make sure the washer locks when closing so it continues with the cycle. Lots of steps so be ready - wouldn't necessarily be ideal for those who cannot get up and down the stairs. We had so much fun and would def. come back to spend another week here!
