Spacious getaway! Great location
5/5 Loved the layout of the home. Plenty of room for the entire family! Close to beach. No complaints.

Good stay for families
4/5 The home was cozy and accommodated everyone. Minus a few minor issues, everything was good. The bed with the bunk and slide sits on the floor so it wasn't comfortable, the slide was not easy for the kids to use, 2 of the barstools were loose, and there isn't a dustpan. Beyond that, I'd rent it again!

Weelend get-away
5/5 We had a fabulous time!! The granddaughter loved the tree house swing set in the back yard.. it was a nice quiet neighborhood.. plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable!!

Bad experience
1/5 One star for this property. We were greeted on day one by a huge flying roach and later that same night we saw a mouse run into the kitchen. On night #2 we came home to a bunch of different size roaches near the trash and even one in the fridge. Aside from the critters, there were also some stains on some of the bedding and backyard had dog food and dog bowls left out.

Hi Vanessa, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- Roaches can be an issue in Galveston, but we have a professional pest control company spray regularly to manage all pests. Since receiving your report, we've had an additional treatment to address the problems you experienced. We wish you'd mentioned this to the guest contact so we could've addressed the matter immediately during your stay.
- We inventoried the linens and found a small stain on one of the sheets, which will be taken care of promptly.
- After looking into this, we didn't find any water bowls or food left outside, but we'll ensure the backyard is thoroughly checked and cleaned for future guests.
- Again, we sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay. An industry-standard refund was provided as a gesture of hospitality.
We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and help this homeowner provide guests with the 5-star service they're known for. We hope to host you again soon.
