Charming Cozy Retreat Is Close to Everything And Comes Equipped with Almost Everything
5/5 I say “almost everything” because all you’ll need to pack is your clothes and anything personal like electronic devices. There’s even a multi-charging station in the living room with a wireless charging pad (works pretty fast to charge my iPhone 13). The kitchen is open and spacious even for a small house, and well-stocked with just about everything you’ll need: pots, pans, toaster, auto-drip coffeemaker, electric kettle), and a wide variety of kitchen utensils to make any cooking project you decide to undertake easy. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The bathroom has a good bathtub/shower combo with a hand-held shower wand with good water pressure, for an enjoyable shower. There is a good variety of products in the shower caddy for all ages and genders, in case you forgot your shampoo, conditioner and/or soap or body wash. Plenty of towels and washcloths, too.
The location of the house is ideal — not just its location in the neighborhood (near the corner of a major street, S Alameda Street), but within a few minutes’ drive of many of the city’s best restaurants and attractions. The welcome guide that Dr. Jack and Susan Laing created has a lot of useful information about Corpus Christi, as well as some of their recommendations.
You will find Dr. Jack and Susan to be gracious and attentive hosts, always accessible and responsive by email or text if you have any questions or concerns. They and their properties here (5717 Rio Vista Drive and 502 Waverly Drive) will be our preferred vacation rental properties for all future trips to the Coastal Bend area of Texas.
Home away from home
5/5 Everything about this home is warm and welcoming. This was our second stay we enjoyed exploring all the little things around the home. The host understood what was missing . If you forgot to pack something I guarantee you’d find replacements here. We highly recommend renting here . Super Host A+ .
