The location was perfect for us. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood with a walmart super close. There are restaurants near by and it's plenty convenient to access amenities. The home was clean, spacious and already cooled down, which was perfectfor this texas heat.
The master bed was so comfortable and we got great sleep. The kids rooms were clean and also comfortable. There are toys and stuffed animals for the kids. Each bedroom has a tv but there is only one roku remote for 3 tvs and we did have to share the remote for the livingroom riom and the kid's room.
The back yard is smaller than the pictures make it look. The hot tub was clean and functional. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pot, pans etc to cook with. The wifi connection was great and had no issues with it.
The towels are small, they do not even cover my chest and I'm 5'2, 175lbs. I had to use 2 towels anytime I need to dry off. There are not an abundance of towels, so we were constantly washing/drying towels. I really wish we'd brought our own towels and this was really my only complaint.
We noticed the washer machine spin cycle was not working so we had to hand ring the towels before putting them in the dryer. Since the spin cycle didn't work, the clothes/towels were much wetter than they should be going into the dryer and every load of laundry needed 2 dryer cycles to he completely dry.
The refrigerator was also leaking due to a defrost issue with the freezer. We had to keep a towel on the floor between the fridge and stove due to constant leaking.
We tried to call the local contact to advise of these issue with the appliances, but their voice-mail had not been set up so I had to call Evolve directly and they advise they let the owners know so it could be fixed before the next guest.
Over all, we'd stay again if the appliances are fixed.
We didn’t have a necessarily good experience here. Upon arrival, there were HUNDREDS of flies.. alive and dead. All over the floor and everywhere. We spent the first hour there cleaning it up as we have very adventurous kids. (1,3,&6).
We had to go buy Allen wrenches to lower the crib so our 1 year old couldn’t climb out of it.
There seemed to be some remotes missing. We had to use the same Roku remote for the living room, kids room, and master bedroom tvs.
There are chemicals under the kitchen sink that should probably have a baby lock on it. There are just blinds in the baby’s room, no curtains, so it was hard to put her down for naps since it was so bright in there.
The 3rd or 4th night we stayed there, we heard loud bangs at 1am that woke the kids up. I checked out everything in the house and it seemed fine. We went back to sleep and the next morning found a card on our door from a police officer that there was “suspicious activity” in the neighborhood and a car door was left open (we locked our car but think it was the neighbors car that was parked in front of the house the whole time we stayed).
There were plenty of kitchen utensils and baby/kids toys. The sponge in the kitchen sink was basically black upon arrival.
Kids loved the hot tub & the bunk beds/decorations. Beds were comfortable.
This property needs more bath towels and maybe beach towels for after the hot tub.
AC works great. Didn’t spend much time in the property but it fit my purpose. Pictures look way better than the property itself, but it was clean and we were able to relax.

Pictures were just like the listing. Hot tub was nice to relax at the end of the day after site seeing. Would stay here again.

This home worked out perfect for our stay over Christmas. We visited San Antonio over winter break because the grandparents snowbird nearby in their 5-wheel. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us to stay, even an extra bedroom we didn’t use, and also plenty of living room and kitchen space when grandma and grandpa hung out with us on Christmas Day.
The neighborhood was quiet and close to stores and restaurants and gas stations, also easy to find.
We didn’t bring our pet, but the fenced yard would have worked great. We also meant to use the hot tub but didn’t, even though it was super cold in Texas while we were there and it was hot and ready to use.
The Wi-Fi worked great, as did both smart TVs. Our kids liked playing in the garage playroom.
Our only complaints and why we marked 4 stars and not 5 is a few household supplies were missing or not provided, like paper towels, enough toilet paper (we stayed 1 week and ran out), foil and plastic wrap and zero salt/pepper or coffee/tea. It was easy enough to buy what we needed, but would have been nice to have some starter supplies since we arrived late.
Overall, we were happy the place was clean and had wine glasses! :)
