It was a last minute trip for my great aunts birthday party. Staying here was amazing. We plan on booking again in the near future.

I choose this house because the description made us feel like the house was very near the water, which would be perfect for our elderly aunt. Later, I saw other reviews telling the truth. However the dock is across the street and 130 yards away. Twice we saw the owner peeking over the fence at us and not speaking to us. Overall, the house was fine, the location of the river is left out of the description.

Hi Stephanie, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
We are glad you chose our home and we are sorry your stay was not what you expected. The Nueces River access is across the street also, with a single, wooded lot separating it. We do not live more than a few hours away and are not on site, we couldn't possibly be peaking over. We will work on getting our description updated for future guests.
We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback.
Love fishing on the dock right in front of the dam. There are lots of fish there. Dock could needs a little upgrade but overall the best in the area. The house is very cute and clean

We had an exceptionally awesome time at this waterfront (100 yards) property with wonderful shaded patio and grill and very spacious small house. Lots of amenities and very well kept. Officer next door , so very safe. I brought my Hobie Kayak and fished all day. Never had a lane all to myself basically. Wonderful hosts and friendly management. Will definitely be coming back.
